Jose is the Tax Senior at Encore Partners LLP. Jose brings a diverse background in accounting, taxation, real estate, and financial management, with extensive experience serving business owners, real estate investors, developers, and manufacturing companies.

Jose began his career as a Southern California real estate broker before transitioning into cost accounting. He partnered to establish a public accounting firm, where he provided accounting, tax, and consulting services to a broad range of clients.

Prior to joining Encore Partners, Jose was the proprietor of JC & Associates, advising small to mid-sized businesses on financial reporting, tax planning and compliance, and business matters. He also served as Controller for Wiens Winery in Temecula, where he oversaw multi-entity financial reporting, cost accounting, and cost of goods sold. During his tenure, he successfully implemented Oracle NetSuite, helping strengthen the company’s financial reporting and accounting operations.

Jose’s combination of hands-on accounting experience, tax expertise, and knowledge of real estate and business operations gives him a well-rounded perspective when advising business owners and investors. He is committed to helping clients navigate financial and tax matters with practical, thoughtful guidance tailored to their individual needs.
