We currently have a career opportunity for a Tax Manager in our growing firm. This opportunity will focus around Partnerships, REITs, C-Corps, S-Corps, Individual tax preparations and reviews. The duties also include assistance with the cost segregation studies, REIT testing, Income tax projections & estimates, and financial statements reviews. The ideal candidate will possess a BS in Accounting, and have at least 3 years of experience at another CPA firm, preferably one of the “Big 4”.

Responsabilities:

  • Provide timely and high-quality services and work products; strive to always exceed client expectations
  • Build client relationships
  • Create an environment that allows others to succeed; set clear, high expectations of client service within team; empower them to take ownership of their responsibilities on the account and go beyond what is expected.
  • Mentor and train junior members of the firm. Mentor in a way that is up-building and productive.
  • Build continual technical competence by staying up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to moderately complex situations.
  • Demonstrate a level of professionalism that shows ownership of projects and respect of clients by providing clients with confidential top quality service.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the firm by developing a thorough understanding of Encore Partners’ methodologies and tools to enhance service delivery; keeping team members informed of work status; actively seeking assignments when unassigned; proactively seeking opportunities to provide client services; challenging traditional procedures; and attempting to find new approaches.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting tax preparation
  • Experience preparing individual, corporate, partnership and trust income tax returns
  • Desire for a career in public accounting
  • CPA License, JD or Enrolled Agent Certification
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting
  • Exceptional client relationship skills essential
