What a crazy year it has been! And what a busy tax season it has been!

My team and I just came up for air after working tirelessly through the September 15 tax deadline. We hardly felt any slowdown during the pandemic (very thankful) and it has been literally nonstop.

We have one more month to go until the October 15 tax deadline. However, we will be even busier in the fall working on tax strategies and tax saving opportunities we will capitalize on together.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created once in a life time havoc and chaos that had profound impact on all of our lives, businesses and communities, bringing in new challenges and opportunities for all of us.

We feel very fortunate that our client service model has allowed us to adapt to the new normal seamlessly without interruption. Many of our staff members had already been working remotely and our system and infrastructure were fully equipped to transition to 100% virtual.

We have been marching through this uncharted water ever since March.  Despite this unforeseen obstacles, we feel stronger than ever.

During this challenging time, we have been focusing on supporting our clients to establish their business continuity and resilience. These efforts resonated through our high-touch client service model and mindset. We witnessed over and over again what power of relationships can do.

By staying connected to our clients and each other coupled with our culture of compassion and care made us feel even closer to one another more than ever. Our intimate, small gathering of dinner series have been so fun (yes we have been social distancing) and allowed us to evolve in the way we connect with our clients and networking partners.

Some of you may feel like you’re taking two steps back for every step forward, but we have to keep taking those forward steps together.

We just need to keep taking those steps one step at a time and keep moving forward and leap higher and further.
